Welcome to White Gloves Beagles

We are an AKC Breeder of Merit and preservationist breeder with a focus on purposefully bred Beagles who excel in temperament, health, predictability and dependability to create the exceptional Beagle in conformation and performance. We perform DNA health testing on all dogs for the following known diseases in Beagles: MLS, NCCD, Factor VII, IGS, POAG and PKD.

We breed from AKC championship show bloodlines and all of our puppies are able to be registered with the AKC.  Companion pets are sold with limited registrations.  Show quality pets may be sold by private negotiation. 

ABOUT BEAGLES:  If you have never had a Beagle and are thinking about owning one, there are a few things you should know . . . 

Beagles are scent hounds.  They've been bred for centuries to follow a scent and without adequate training, they will at every opportunity. It is wise to have a well fenced yard to let your Beagle out or keep your Beagle on a leash by your side when you are out of doors.  Once the nose hits the ground, the hearing can turn off and your Beagle will go for hours if you don't have it adequately contained. 

While Beagles are a hearty breed, they prefer to be indoors with you as an integral part of your life.  Beagles are immensely loyal to their families.  They love to play; are inquisitive and want to help you; and they quickly learn to "read" their people.  Beagles are usually food motivated as well as play motivated, so can be quite easy to train; but, being their inquisitive selves may get into things at the house if left unsupervised.  

Beagles are one of the most versatile breeds around and can do just about anything you can think of doing together from scent work, agility, frisbee, obedience, or riding on boats. They can be superior therapy or service dogs as well as excel in search and rescue.  Bottom line - they love to interact with you and will do everything within their power to do so.
